Shopify feeds and how to utilize them – GreenDropShip

In order to get started as a Shopify seller, you'll need to be able to load your store's inventory and price the products accordingly. As a Shopify seller, you can organize your store into multiple collections. Most collections are usually organized by product category but you can organize your store to fit the demands and interests of your audience.

Alongside our general feeds that can be tailored to any platform, we also offer designated feeds that are already pre-formatted for Shopify and can be easily imported into your store on that platform. These feeds have all the information that Shopify users may need to list our products on their store. Additionally, we would like to underline that our pre-formatted feeds already display product MSRPs and not their wholesale prices.

Our Shopify data feed is divided into 3 CSV files (Part 1 and part 2 of our product list) so that our members have an easier time importing them. Each file is less than 15MB and should not create any issues if they are imported individually.

You can click on Shopify logos under "Data Feeds & Images" section of your account to download the feeds.

All of our feeds, including all pre-formatted feeds, are updated with new inventory and product details a couple of times every day.

While we recommend all of our customers to update their stock levels daily, we are also aware that importing full data feeds into Shopify can take a while. In order to minimize the discomfort that the process can cause, we also offer a third Shopify feed - This is a smaller file that you can use to update inventory levels for the products that you have already imported into your store.

In order to utilize this feed, you will need to create a location called grn_inventory. You can find information about inventory syncing and creating locations in the article below:
